The Clamp-Type Grounding Resistance Measuring Instrument represents a significant advancement over traditional grounding resistance measurement techniques. When measuring a loop-type earthing system, the clamp-type grounding resistance meter does not require disconnection of the grounding down conductor or the use of auxiliary electrodes, making the testing process safe, fast, and easy to perform.
